Story/ Inspiration:
When I grow up, The little girl looks towards the woman she will one day become. She breathes embers, whispers secrets, and predicts her future. In her dream, she sinks into a red and bold dawn of childhood. From her perch, she contemplates the possibilities unfolding on a palette of symbolic objects. Will she be beautiful? Rich? Talented? Intelligent? Imprisoned by the constraints of time? Unshackled from the bonds of life? A free soul sailing towards exotic realms? Her parents' voices echo in her mind, the sounds of her small legs' feet running through the inner streets. Is she fleeing these voices or seeking refuge within herself?
